My name is Alex and I love food. It really is that simple, this is why I do what I do. It's always been my dream to be able to cook for people for a living, I did not expect that the way it would come about is through filming it and sharing it online but I have absolutely loved building this community and doing positive things with my platform. I think the reason people connect with my content is because I keep it real. I cook things that are relatable to everyday home cooks and I teach them how to elevate those weeknight meals with very little effort, in a way that is actually realistic to apply. Even as this platform grows, and I'm blessed enough to do things like shoot full length documentaries around the globe for Youtube and experience real, traditional food practices that are completely foreign to me and my audience, I present it from the angle that I myself am learning and I'm bringing them along with me for that experience. The one thing I've prioritised as my platform has grown is maintaining that authenticity. At the end of the day, they are just numbers on a screen and I am just someone that loves food. I've just been lucky enough that I can make it my career. This is something that I will always do. Keep it real and true to me.
